Tea, Anyone?

The beauty of tea lies in the ceremony: the ritual of boiling water, measuring leaves, and savoring that first sip. It warms, cools, cheers, and soothes the soul. In much the same way, time in my studio—brush in hand—brings me joy. I often surprise myself with the shapes that emerge and delight in the interplay of color, texture, and form. My inspiration comes from old photographs, lyrics, quiet observations, and small acts of kindness.

I am an artist, designer, and builder—working with my hands, head, and heart in equal measure. Though I spent many years studying and working in Boston, I now live and create in the small New Jersey town where I grew up. After decades in the fashion and graphic design industries, I’ve returned to my first love: painting.

My practice is deeply rooted in ritual and intuition. I pay close attention to details, revel in texture, and marvel at the organic shapes that arise naturally. Through my work, I strive to capture the essence of both nature and emotion, often blending realism with abstraction to create layered, expressive pieces.

Whether you're a fellow artist or a lover of art, I invite you to explore my portfolio. Each painting reflects my passion, craftsmanship, and dedication to the creative process—ranging from bold, vibrant compositions to quiet, contemplative works. Thank you for visiting. I’m honored to share my art with you.
